What can I use for free?
Use 1–30 minute timers, up to 3 routine items, and custom text-to-speech alerts. Disabled or paused routine items still count toward the limit of 3. Children can also view the 14-day calendar.
Does the full version require a subscription?
No. One purchase unlocks more than 3 routine items, parent recording, audio import, timers up to 180 minutes, and an exclusive animal. Check the App Store price shown in the app. System reminders still depend on permissions and scheduling capacity.
Can I use it on both iPhone and iPad?
Restore the full-version purchase on both devices with the same Apple Account. This does not mean Family Sharing between different Apple Accounts. Routines, recordings, and preferences stay on each device and do not sync automatically.
How do I restore the full-version purchase?
Complete parent verification, open More Settings, and choose Restore Purchases in the Purchase section. Make sure the device is signed in with the Apple Account used for the original purchase.
Why did I not receive a countdown notification?
Open the iOS Settings app and check notification permission for Calm Planet. Focus modes and silent settings can also affect how notifications appear.
Is location permission required?
No. Approximate location is used only when Local Sunrise & Sunset is selected. You can use a custom schedule or manual day/night mode instead.
How can I keep my child in the timer screen?
Follow the website or in-app setup steps to use Apple Guided Access and temporarily keep the device in Calm Planet, reducing accidental exits. Guided Access is built into iOS and iPadOS; it is not a Calm Planet product feature.
